About
Joshua Martin
I like solving problems, organizing messy work, and building systems that actually function in the real world.
Who I Am
My background sits at the intersection of project delivery, customer success, and technical systems. Over the years, I’ve worked in environments where expectations are high, systems are complex, and there isn’t always a clean path forward.
That’s the kind of work I enjoy. I like stepping into situations where things are unclear, figuring out what actually matters, and helping teams move forward in a way that makes sense.
How I Work
- Keep things moving. Projects stall when communication breaks down or priorities get unclear. I focus on keeping momentum, even when things get complicated.
- Translate between teams. A big part of my work is helping technical teams and business stakeholders actually understand each other so decisions can happen faster.
- Get into the details when needed. I’m comfortable staying high-level, but I’m also willing to dig into infrastructure, integrations, or system behavior when that’s what it takes to solve the problem.
- Fix the system, not just the symptom. If something keeps breaking, there’s usually a process or visibility issue behind it. I look for that and improve it.
What I Care About
I care about work that actually matters—systems that people rely on, customers who need things to work, and teams that need clarity to do their jobs well.
Whether that’s in healthcare technology, infrastructure, or business systems, I’m most interested in environments where reliability, communication, and execution make a real difference.
Outside of Work
I tend to learn by building. That shows up in things like my homelab, side projects, and the occasional completely unnecessary challenge, like building a smoker instead of just buying one.
For me, those projects aren’t separate from my work. They’re just another way I stay sharp, experiment, and get better at solving problems. I love Lego, and spending time with my 5- that is accurate, 5 children. I love Lego, and spending time with my 5- that is accurate, 5 children. When I have time I love movies, video games and going outdoors.
If you're looking for someone who can bring structure to complex work, communicate clearly, and help projects actually get across the finish line, I’d be glad to connect.
